The Next to Go

Let's start praying now for our next two mission teams heading out of our city. Team Mexico leaves on July 30th. This is a group of men heading down to do some construction work, led by Lance Williams. Look for a Prayer Card in your bulletin on July 26th.

Team Galveston heads out on August 6th. These folks will be working hard as they lend a hand to the folks affected by Hurricane Ike and they will be led by Sam Perry.

Here at home, a team will be heading to the Sugar Land Health Care Center to lead a church service for the residents tomorrow. Anyone is welcomed to join them; it begins at 1:30pm in the dining hall. It's such a simple and powerful way to remind them that God remembers them. Pray that God would reveal Himself to those residents and staff and family who do not know the love and truth of Jesus.

May we all be salt and light as we go to the mission field of stores and work and the zoo and the park and the neighborhood pool.
